Spring Break Trip to Indy

Thanks for a great spring break!

We got to visit with Great Grandma Dorothy. Raquel was about Sierra's age the last time we got to visit with my grandma.

Grandpa and Grandma Mac took us out to lunch at the Southside Soda Shop, where they'd go to get ice cream as youngans. Yummy food!

Matt approves of the Soda Shop :) The kids oogling over the ice cream

post branch-burning

Cali and Raquel did a good job of throwing and hitting the ball :)

Steve and Matt trimmed down the trees/hedge along the edge of the backyard, and really enjoyed burning the branches. Oh the fun of manual labor.

"I love to see the temple..."

Mom and Dad were so nice to watch the children for us while Steve, Juli, Matt and I drove a couple of hours to the Louisville Temple for a session.

Family Home Evening--here we are coloring and cutting out a picture of Jesus and the empty tomb. Kaitlyn enjoyed dressing up in Cali's dress-up clothes.

"bosom buddies," i.e. cousins born on the same day :) It was fun to have Sierra and Eli side by side.

Reading with cousin Cali

Adam got all the eggs that were up high in the trees.

Kaitlyn on the move. She found the special empty egg.

Raquel and the daffodils
The Easter egg hunt didn't take long.

It's GIANT ADAM!

Swinging and sliding :)

Steve and Matt took the kids to the park while Juli and I hid all of the eggs for the hunt.

I knew I'd find Matt in the middle of that branch burning. That's one of my favorite activities as well. (Besides hole digging) - RYN
