Kaitlyn's wearing her butterfly apparel & painting pottery (a special event planned by her school)...complete photo with Dad's chin, Raquel's eye, and Adam's teeth :) [photo by Matt :) ]
quick shot as we were leaving...i know, the photos are out of order... the flowers smelled really good :)
It was pretty cold outside. Sierra's such a trooper.
Photo taken, right before I lost Raquel. Yes, she is fast. Thankfully, a nice woman returned Raquel to me, when she heard my yelling "Raquel!"
You probably can't tell, but this is a photo of Raquel trying to figure out what this other photographer is doing (snappin' shots of butterflies). It was really humid and hot in the butterfly greenhouse.
There were some cool sculptures- this one in the shape of a person sitting w/ knees tucked in towards the chest. I wanted to get a picture of each child next to the first letter of their name. I don't remember why, but Kaitlyn was crying. Somehow I convinced her to pause long enough to smile. This is the result.
This was Adam before he got his foot stuck. As I was heading back inside, Adam tried to convince me that he couldn't come with me because his foot was stuck in the sculpture. I didn't believe him. To make a long story short, we wasted probably 10 minutes and I easily slid his shoe sideways to free him. I'm still not sure if he was trying to be tricky or if he really thought he was stuck. Either way, he was not happy with me.

Looks like fun(except for maybe the foot that got stuck and losing Raquel)! Thanks again for letting us stay with you guys. We had such a good time. I hope you make it down to Cincy again before we leave!
Cute! That last picture of Matt and Sierra is adorable.
Meijer Gardens really is so cool. That's fun you're all able to go so often (and I know you don't go all the time, but this is coming from someone who lives in non-scandalous entertainment-deprived Las Vegas. So any time feels like lots).
Poor Adam getting his foot stuck. Kinda funny, though. And I love Kaitlyn's picture with the smile and the tears in her eyes. That poor girl cries a lot. Raquel staring at the photographer is adorable.
Fun pictures! It is amazing the things you do with 4 kids. Something to look forward to in the far future!:)
What a fun place! I bet the kids really loved the family outing. :)
I'm glad you found Raquel! I'm thinking that was not a good moment.
The picture of Kaitlyn as a dead butterfly cracked me up, and that one of Sierra and Matt at the end is darling.
