The 4th of July

Picnic lunch and playing in the sand
at Millennium Park
[it has a beach/lake, as well as a splash pad, like at Veteran's Park in BC, and a playground, etc.]
Despite the kids' looks of boredom, they had a lot of fun. [At this point, we had yet to play in the sand and water.]

I'll have to find the rest of our 4th photos. They must not have been uploaded to our computer yet!

I'm so jealous you live near a beach. And I'm excited you finally posted new pictures. AND i'm embarrassed to admit that when I changed my blog list, somehow yours never got transferred (manually, so it's totally and sadly user error). I'm a dork and such a bad sister.

I LOVE that picture of the kids!! I think it is the embodiment of family togetherness(especially that they had so much fun later).

I can't wait to see you guys next week!

Jen, That's funny about the blog list. I was wondering what happened. No biggy. I only noticed b/c when I go to your blog, I often get back to mine by clicking on the link. But no, you are not a dork nor a bad sister!
