Kaitlyn and I had fun applying our chalk artwork to our backyard sidewalk.

Our new landscape artist, Matt the monkey, cutting down treelimbs to give our garden a bit more sunshine.

In April, when the temps rose a bit, Matt set up our tent in the back yard to take the kids camping :) I recall it being rather windy and then rainy that night. I slept inside the house in my nice warm bed :)

To celebrate our 8 wonderful years, I made one of Matt's favorites: homemade German Chocolate Cake. Yum! They say you get to a man's heart through his stomach. Hehee. (The cake didn't last a week. We gobbled it up.) [I take photos of things I make/bake to remember that yes, I have made this before; I can do it again :)]

Matt transplating our laundry-room seedlings to our garden...from underground to in the ground.

Missed the updates! I am glad to see that you are making it right along with the pregnancy. I am pretty much in that uncomfortable stage, but making it. Hope things continue to go well.
Happy Anniversary (very, very late). The cake looks delicious. And the kids are so big! I can't wait to see you guys in July!
