Ty Guy
He's 9 months, 23 lbs., working on his fourth tooth, sitting in a bigger car seat still backwards, eating more foods, and currently napping. He has slept about 12-hour nights a few times recently, (it was so wonderful), but I think his teeth are bothering him...orajel usually works, so I'm missing the solid night-time sleep. Matt and I traditionally take a photo of us with each of our children when 9 months old. Tyler is due for his...will post as soon as we take the photo :)

Some Tyler Milestones
He has begun push-ups and rocking on all fours.
And he finally cut through the gums with his first tooth!
He'll be 8 months on Friday! At his last check-up he fit into the 90-97 percentile for everything, weighing in at 21.7 lbs., measuring 29 in. long, and his head measurement, I forget. What a big boy!
I found a video of Tyler laughing, but since K took it, it was 2 min. long. I'll have to catch him laughing on video some other time.

Friday the 13th ;) update
Poor Sierra didn't quite make it in the photo...good photographers are so hard to come by these days.

As tired as I get most days, life really is good! I've been blessed with a wonderful husband and now five children! Last Sunday Tyler received his baby blessing. Matt gave a beautiful blessing full of love, and luckily Tyler did not cry at all. Mom and Dad Ripp and Whitney and Kelsey got to be here for that. It was so nice to have them (you) here! Last weekend we drove out to the lake. Tyler slept the whole time, so I actually got to enjoy jumping in the waves :) It was fun. And while we were in the water, we noticed a line of ladies in purple dresses with flowers in hand descending the grassy hill one by one to the beach...yes, bridesmaids! A bride followed shortly after the girls in purple gowns. There was a wedding. It seemed so odd for there to be a wedding on a public beach while the public was there. We got a laugh out of it. Oh well. I'm guessing that it was cheaper for them and yet still beautiful. I must say I'm am so grateful that I was married in the temple to my Matthew :) for time and eternity! That's the best place to start a marriage. Matt mentioned to me last night that one of the attendings complimented him on his being able to go through residency with a family, that he is amazing (I think that's the word he used). I just laughed and said, "you have a teammate at home." Matt replied, "who's just as amazing." :) Aww. Well, we have a date tonight. Yea! And I still need to get to the grocery store! Here are a few photos...must post more later!
P.S. Raquel is now 4!
