At the end of January, I made a "disgusting" (Nani's word, meaning delicious) coconut cake frosted with cream cheese coconut frosting and topped with berries. Yum! For the cake test (a Ripplinger tradition), half of the cake is blue and the other pink. The husband spins the cake, the wife cuts the cake. The slice of cake reveals the gender of the baby. For this baby, the cake test failed. We cut blue, but the ultrasound showed girl!
