I was so excited to learn last fall that Indy would soon have a temple built. [Indy is where I grew up.] It was announced during General Conference shortly after the passing of my father. This knowledge adds more hope to my testimony that I know families can be together forever through temple blessings. At times I miss my dad, but I know that I will see him again because of the atoning sacrifice of my savior Jesus Christ. So it's not "good bye," only "see you later!" This is part of the joy that the gospel of Jesus Christ brings into my life. I guess some of the reasons why I am thinking about this are because our next General Conference when the prophet speaks to us is this weekend!, and because Matt and I are planning a trip to the Detroit Temple soon, too :) Yea! My mom will be here for our spring break and is so wonderful to watch the kids for us during our day trip :)

I was so excited to read this in the Church News. How close will the site be to your childhood home? I loved how you put your dad's passing: "see you later." That is a comforting and happy thought!
