Tooth fairy

Recently, Kaitlyn lost her first tooth, as well as her second now. Our oldest child already knows how the tooth fairy works. However, our second child is still innocent. The night of losing her second tooth, we forgot to put it under her pillow. I thought, "well, one fewer step. I'll just throw it away now, no problem." Later that night, Kaitlyn comes upstairs to ask me where her tooth is because she needs to put it under her pillow. ! I told her, "I think the tooth fairy knows when you lose a tooth, but we'll look for it and put it under there for you. If we can't find it tonight, we'll find it tomorrow and do it then." I hate lying to my kids or anyone. I usually am not good at it anyway. But it worked! After she fell asleep, I placed the box of coins under her pillow. The next morning, she knew the tooth fairy had been there. Yea!
