Back to the states...Adam's 8th Birthday and Baptism!

Adam was baptized the next day by his dad Matt :) What a wonderful experience. Grandma Ripp and Dad spoke about baptism and the Holy Ghost. While we waited for the guys to get back into dry clothes, we talked about memories of our own baptisms. It was neat. Great idea grandma! Whitney and Kelsey sang a beautiful duet with Great-Grandma Pete accompanying. Grandpa Ripp, Uncle Aaron, Great-Grandpas Wayne and Pete joined Matt in confirming Adam a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and giving him the gift of the Holy Ghost. And I think Aaron and Lindsay gave the prayers. Thank you for being a part of Adam's special day! [And thanks Adam for letting me soak it all in :) ] We are so proud of you, Adam!

Adam's an EIGHT-year-old! He asked for a lemon cake. Lemon? Yep. But Grandma made a delicious cake with yummy puddings and whipped cream to top! Thank you :)
