Halloween Festivities

Halloween night after A & K return triumphantly. Raquel actually crashed on the couch right before dinner and slept through the whole thing. Luckily, she did some trunk-or-treating at the ward party before. Sierra helped hand out candy. Grandma's costumes win out again :) They're the best!
Here's our front porch dummy, as part of our Halloween decor.
Strike a pose! The girls have been enjoying their wings.
We attended our ward party which included a chili dinner, lots of fun games to win dessert (like doughnut eating on a string or cupcake walk), costume contests, parade across the stage, and trunk-or-treating.
Raquel didn't want to wear her spooky witch hat. Adam took his cavalier costume off. We tried to shape Sierra's hair into a Jack-Jack spike, but it turned out to be more of a curl on top. Kaitlyn won a prize for her fairy princess costume (gift card to Coldstone :) ).

We bought a pumpkin carving kit this year, so we actually got some decent results. [If you can't tell what these are...from L to R: a monster and a scared kid in bed looking at the glaring monster eye in the window.]

Wow, those pumpkins are really impressive. I love the kid in the bed.

And the costumes are so cute, again! Sierra's hair is totally cute. I'm also glad to see you continue to utilize the Incredibles costume--that's one of my all-time favorites.

How funny Raquel slept through Halloween.

What a cute family! How cool that Kaitlyn won a prize, and it was cold stone-yummy. I also like the pumpkins you guys carved. They look very good.

How funny that Raquel would fall asleep before the big event. I am glad she was still able to enjoy it at the ward party. Hope you all are doing great!

I think The Cavalier looks even better this year! The eyebrows and fantastic moustache add alot to the overall effect---good call! And Kaitlyn's pink fairy is SO fancy with the fluffy pink puffiness as trim. And wings are always great fun! I would love to see Raquel as a witch--such an oximoron! She is such a sweet, sparkly little person. And Sierra is such an adorable pumpkin--what a beautiful child. And those pumpkins are amazing--you must have done different thicknesses on the bed covers because they look great! Halloween is one of my very favorite holidays of the entire year...I'm glad the kids had a most fun time. I love you all!

The scarecrow on your front porch is so fanatastic! What a great decoration idea! Did it have a name? You guys truly are "The Incredibles!"
