Out one end and in the other

Yes, I meant what I wrote. Babies who crawl have a tendency to put things in their mouths. Occasionally, these things enter unnoticed and move right through. Twice while changing diapers we have found a little yellow water balloon (empty) [two different ones] mushed in with Sierra's poop! I am so glad it didn't get stuck inside her! I recall another of our children passing things like sand or floss! Yuck. Well, today I changed Sierra's diaper, threw it away, washed hands, walked into the other room to do something, when Kaitlyn said Sierra had something in her mouth. I immediately stick my finger in her mouth to retrieve the object and pull out a slimy wad of poop! Yuck!!! I picked her up ran to the bathroom washed her mouth, washed hands, brushed her teeth with toothpaste. How gross! And then got her a drink. Poor girl! When my other children were toddlers, I thought eating dog food was bad. This tops it all! The only thing I can think of is that some must have fallen out of the diaper before I threw it away. Sigh. Well, she's okay. I'm okay. Now I can laugh.

Bah! I'm glad you can laugh about it now, because I think that one would haunt me. But it is funny, when I don't think too hard about it. I'm glad all parties are still alive.
