Spring has sprung

So, I got up a Bunny-proof (I hope) fence around our garden plot, the sprinklers are once again running at full gallop, new grass seed is sprouting in our lawns, and there's a jungle in our laundry room. :)

We're excited to transplant the pre-sprouted veggies and flowers into the garden (very soon)! Over the course of the 1.5 months since I planted the seeds, watering every other day with fertilizer water, always under the grow lamps, they've gone pretty wild, which is great.
The corn plants are a good 18 inches tall (which is much taller than they ever got last year, before our friendly neighborhood bunny got to them). We're also growing broccoli, spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, squashes, pumpkins, honeydew, cantaloupe, beets, rutabega (don't ask me what that is), parsnips, brussels sprouts, and various flowers, carrots, cucumbers, sweet basil, coriander, and who knows what else.
Now I just maybe need to shave down our trees so the garden gets enough light!

I remember that we had bunny problems when we lived in Indy. We hope to get a garden going next summer!!

Nice Matt! I'd bet a rabbit will have a hard time getting through that fence. And hopefully it doesn't, because those plants look really good. I'm still so impressed they grew so well inside.

I'm jealous you have a garden! I hope we are able to live in a house during residency. If we do I may end up asking you how to get started.

You guys were so smart to plant in your basement. We were talking about what to plant in our garden the other day and, because this winter lasted forever, we have already missed the time for planting certain things. Next year I am definitely copying you!
