Being the crazy mom that I am, I loaded up the van with my three kids and stuff, and took off for South Carolina. Matt had to work, so yes, I drove solo! My sister Dorothy and her family live there in Aiken. She has a newborn (1 mo. old, 7th child) and they just moved into their new house (1st one, too)! My parents were also there to help. The trip's kind of a blur, but it was worth it. Along the way we also got to visit briefly with Matt's cousin and his family, the Bybees in Cincinnati, OH; as well as my brother and his family in Richmond, IN; and one of Matt's med school classmates and his family, the Clarks in Holland, OH! :) Thank you for your hospitality! We really appreciate it!

Here's Adam with his cousin Savannah. He told us that he's going to marry her when he grows up. Then Matt had a nice conversation with him about genetics!

Kaitlyn was overjoyed with her lizard catch. She found him at Dorothy's in-laws' backyard. She loved him so much, but I convinced her to let him go because we didn't want to separate him from his family.

The picture of Kaitlyn with her lizard is so cute. Look at her being all adventurous and tough.
It looks like you had a great trip. You're amazing (is amazing the right word?) Ü for doing that with 3 kids.
