Adam learning to fly the plane! Story: on our flight home to Michigan, we were to connect in Wisconsin. Well, all the snow forced the airport to shut down. After having circled for about an hour, we flew on to refuel in Grand Rapids! We quickly notified a flight attendant that GR was our final destination. They pulled some strings and "ta-da" we got to get off the plane and go home! The pilots were so nice; they let the kids check out the cockpit.

End of BC trip

That's really cool that you guys got to see inside the cockpit! That's always been one of my goals! (I guess I just need to have three adorable children)
Anyway, also cool that your plane randomly landed in Grand Rapids, though not so cool that you had to circle for an hour first.
Thanks for posting some pics! I had heard so much from Jen about the wedding preparations that I was just dying to see how it all turned out! It is awesome that Adam got to "fly" the plane! It is also awesome that you got to get of in GR! I have never heard of anyone doing that before!
I've been wondering when you guys would get a blog. So glad you did! I never realized it would be such a problem to get off the plane like that. Wouldn't they be happy to have a few less mouths to give drinks to?
I'm glad they let you off the plane. Airlines are nutters. And very cool they got to see the cockpit. I never get to see the cockpit.
